Tandoori Momos #tandoorimomos

Momos are a street specialty in North and the North East of India. Yes and it has a good fan following around the world as well.

But friends, no dish is complete in India if it does not have the masaledar and chatpata Indian tandoori touch. So if you’ve always loved momos and are looking for something unique then this is the recipe for you.

Ingredients:

  • Maida – 2 cup
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Water – to make a stiff dough
  • Cabbage – 2 cups grated
  • Onion – 1/2 cup grated
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Ginger – 2 inches grated
  • Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Oil – to deep fry (avoid if using steaming momo)
  • Sattu / Roasted Besan – 4 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Chat Masala – 1 tsp
  • Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chili – 1 tsp
  • Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
  • Red Food Color – ⅛ tsp
  • Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
  • Dahi – 4 tbsp
  • Mustard Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Charcoal – 1 small
  • Ghee – 1/2 tsp
  • Oil – to cook about 2-3 tbsp
  • Wooden Skewers / Metal Skewer
  • Onion – 2-3 sliced
  • Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
  • Chat Masala – 1/2 tsp
